INTENTION

Create a space for transformation where we find the way back home, our bodies and unleash expression.

STORY - TRAJECTORY

Here I will share with you a little story that is in constant evolution and is far more real that all ´achievements on the paper ´´

My roots go back to rural landscapes of North Greece. I grew up far away from urban centres, with strong sense of community that is connected to the land. I spend thousands hours playing, running, shifting my body in upside down spaces and speak with the stars. I was always in constant movement, either physically either through my imagination.

My mind and interest are being shaped and evolve as I move through life. And lately life moves in quick cycles.

Due to my BA in Geography, I lived in Lesvos, Greek island learning how to connect a web of information that move through different ecosystems. Looking at relations between human, land, history and looking at evolution from a wide perspective.

The Academic journey brought me in Netherlands where I got in touch with the dancing body, looking at it through a somatic approach of movement. This is where I encounter our inner ecosystems, a mystical web of information that capture my imagination and interest immediately. Then I went on to study contemporary dance and improvisation in Germany.

Even though I studied various techniques, approaches, philosophies of movement ( BMC, Alexander technique, axis syllabus, flying low, contemporary technique, contact improvisation, Qi gong and Chinese medicine, kung fu, floor work, release technique and have been doing FELDENKRAIS formation),

my main passion and devotion from the beginning is somatic dancing and instant composition that deals with PRESENCE & CONNECTION with the self.

This is where imagination and physicality are married. This is where my infinite questions about source of life always return. During the last decade, I became a versatile dancer, work in different projects, I made my own projects funded by state of Germany, went on making researches. I danced, choreographed, set and improvisation material.

Until a serious spine injury put me in deep questions again. And this is where I started the journey to redirect in my core interest. Which is an evolving research of the moving body, how can we embody, we relate with the environment and move with it in an effortless way..

During all these experiences It became clear for me how consciousness is closely entangled with body and movement. And that consciousness itself is in constant evolution.

So here I return to share all my current questions, interests on movement, consciousness. Through simple practice of move, touch, listen and make.

sometimes internal movement of energy,, sometimes sublet and dynamic.

With a purpose to create a space to find the reconnection with the self, the body and space through the form of improvisation art. Either through classes, workshops or a piece of art.

May my trajectory in this life, open a space to touch your heart and let-s move on.

Thank you for reading this little story. If you are interest for more, Send me an email and I am always glad to connect, to share, to facilitate what is needed.
