Invitation to a 2 days Micro-Festival in a small and picturesque village called St. Ilgen (between Freiburg im Breisgau and Basel).
During the 2 days, we will make free improvised music and dances, share practices and exchange (research, read texts about improv-based aesthetic and philosophy etc.), explore different formats, like sound-walks, long time improvisations and create a final concert/performance in the church of St. Ilgen.
We want to create this festival together, so ideas are very welcome and spontaneously set in action…There is a beautiful old church, with a fantastic acoustic, in which we can give a public concert.
We will work in the beautiful loft studio of 60m2, in the church, at the wide spaces around Meiergasse 12 and in the open fields. There are possibilities to set up tents in the garden or sleep in shared sleeping spaces. So, bring your tent if you like and sleeping mates/bags. Meals will be made together. Please also bring some food with you, that we can share during the 2 days. A welcoming dinner will be provided by the organizers.
Starting day of the Festival: Friday, 19th of July, 6 pm. End: Sunday, 21st of July - after the final performance/concert.
Participation Fee: 0 Euro.
